A new year is nearly here and what better way is there to celebrate it with than kicking it off with a new build-off competition! Its open to all, so all you have to do is grab a kit, choose your theme and off you go! Take a quick read of our rules on entry below and then get started.
STEP 1 - Read Our Rules
To keep the build-off accessible to as many people as possible and allow for creative builds; any paints or building tools that you already own are available for use in the build off. If you also have any custom decals or aftermarket parts, you can use them in your build. Just make sure to inform and confirm with us first to make sure that they are suitable for use (for example decals should be used to complement a build, not be the whole appeal of it)
We are also opening up the use of 3D printed parts as long as they are either a set of wheels, spoiler, body kit, exhaust or interior parts. Like the decals If you are thinking on using 3D parts just confirm it with us first before you start building.
All builders MUST submit 5 photographs of the finished item to us before the end date of April 30th. We will host a Facebook, Instagram and Website public poll to decide a winner of each person’s final build. To make your model look its best when we upload the photos to our social media pages try to make sure you have taken your pictures horizontally with the same aspect ratio.
When voting day arrives please try to refrain from sharing it with you friends and family as not to incite suspicion of asking for votes to get the win. Any entrants that are found sharing and asking for relatives to vote will have their build disqualified from the competition with no appeal.
STEP 2 - Choose Your Theme
So you’re interested? Good! Lets pick a theme! We’ve got twelve different themese to choose from all listed below for you with a accompanying picture to give you a bit of an idea on what the theme entails and hopefully spark a bit of inspiration on what you’d like to do. Once you have your theme locked in, its time to move onto step 2!
STEP 3 - Purchase Your Kit
Next choose the model you’d like to build your theme in! We’ve opened our entire car kits range to be applicable for the build off, so choose whichever one takes your fancy regardless of budget! Any aftermarket accessories from the site such as wheels, fender kits or diorama pieces are also available for use, so click the button below and get browsing!
STEP 4 - Confirm Your Placement
Once the order for your kit has been placed, send an email over to [email protected] with your order number and which theme you’ll be building your kit in and we’ll log and confirm your placement! From there all you have to do is sit back and wait for you box of awesome to arrive and then get cracking as soon as it does!
