The Nissan GT-R is a Japanese sports car that was first presented to the general public in 2007. Its serial production started in 2008 and is still ongoing. The car was or is powered – depending on the year of production – by one of four engines with a maximum power of 480 to 600 HP, but it was always a 6-cylinder unit with a capacity of 3.8 liters.
The GT-R model was developed and put into production by Nissan Motor Company, officially as a completely new model, but it is very often perceived as the successor to the Skyline R34. This claim is all the more justified because both vehicles had similar styling and were or are offered in the same segment of the automotive market. The first conceptual work on the GT-R model began in 2001, and its main designer was Shiro Nakamura . In 2013, the car underwent a facelift, and also received several new technical solutions. In 2017, the car received a new 600 HP engine, synchronized with a 6-speed, semi-automatic gearbox.
