The Volkswagen Polo R WRC is the S2000 rally car that German Volkswagen has introduced to the WRC since 2013. The body with over fenders is expanded to 1820 mm, which is the full width of the regulations. The engine was equipped with a 1.6-litre in-line 4-cylinder with turbocharger at the front. Participated in the actual race from the first round of the 2013 WRC, the Monte Carlo Rally. 13 races, 12 wins in the 2014 season to win the title. In 2015, the design of the rear wing was changed, the gearbox was improved and the weight was reduced, further increasing the fighting power. Participated in the WRC from the opening round of the Monte Carlo Rally, and recorded 12 wins out of 13 races, including the Monte Carlo Rally. A 1/24 scale Volkswagen Polo R WRC plastic model assembly kit released by Belkit, a Belgian model maker who is passionate about rally car model development. The body reproduces the front and rear over fenders in one piece. Markings reproduced with large decals can be finished by selecting three drivers: Ogier, Latvala, and Mickelson. Reproduces the differences from the 2013 specification, such as the 2015 specification rear wing and paddle shift steering. Also modeled the lights for the night stage. Chassis bottom surface is mechanically reproduced such as suspension and 4WD drive shaft. Furthermore, the cockpit features rally equipment such as a fire extinguisher, a unique shift lever, roll bar, and steering frame. The kit also includes photo-etched parts such as seat belt materials and brake discs.
