Nissan Cube is a Japanese A + class passenger car (minivan), which was first presented to the public in 1998. Initially, in the years 1998-2009 it was produced only for the Japanese market, and only in the period 2009-2014 it was offered on markets outside of this country. Its serial production continues and has been concentrated in Oppama’s plants in Japan.
The Nissan Cube was created on the Micra platform, but has a completely different, more angular styling that clearly distinguishes it from many other cars. An interesting stylistic solution was also the visual connection of the rear window on the rear part of the body with the windows in the rear passenger compartment door. Originally, the car was powered by a 1.3 litre engine, but engines from 1.5 to 1.8 litres are now available. Three generations of this model were created in the course of serial production. Interestingly, in 2008, Nissan unveiled the experimental version of the EV-02 powered solely by an electric motor.
