The Nissan Legrand is a Japanese MPV that was first presented to the general public in 1997. Its serial production started in the same year and is still ongoing. The car was or is powered – depending on the version – by a relatively wide range of engines with a displacement of 2.5 to 3.5 litres. The Legrand model was developed and put into production by the automotive concern Nissan Motor Company, in order to complement and later replace the Homy-Caravan and Presage models in the offer. From the very beginning, it was assumed that the model would be sold on the domestic market and especially on Asian markets. The main market competitors of the Nissan Legrand are, for example, the Toyota Alphard and Honda Odyssey. The model has so far had three generations, the last of which entered the market in 2010. Cars of this generation are powered by one of two engines with a capacity of 2.5 or 3.5 litres, and a 7-speed gearbox is responsible for the transmission.
