Toyota Aristo is a Japanese upper-middle class passenger car, produced by Toyota Motor Corporation, which was first presented to the public in 1991. Its production started the same year and lasted – under that name – until 2005. The main place of production of the car was the city of Tahara in Japan. The Aristo model was developed and implemented for production in order to expand the commercial offer of the Toyota concern and from the very beginning it was dedicated primarily to the domestic communication market. The vehicle was externally almost identical to the Lexus GS car, which Toyota, in turn, offered primarily on foreign markets, especially in the USA and Western Europe. Toyota Aristo and Lexus GS differed from each other in terms of stylistic details, but also slightly different power units. In total, Toyota Aristo has two generations. The car was powered by 6- or 8-cylinder engines with a capacity of 3.0 to 4.3 litres.
